OK so realistically, we’re saying if we have $2 million to invest we could transfer it over to Robinhood for an instant 3% growth, and then invest that for the next five years.

Am I missing something here? 3% is about $180-190 dollars if you max out the Ira. The cost of the yearly contribution is $75. So this is net like… $105-115 a year to be locked in for 5 years?
