It ends up ctx wasn't buggering up anything. It was the fact that I didn't quite understand how the connection as being added to the globalThis. Now I get it thanks to your help.

Using Multiple DBs with Drizzle

I'm fairly certain the issue is where the db connection is establish in a globalThis. Currecntly focused on messing with that.
