Which ROG device are you using?
It happened to me when i installed it in my AllyX and i logged into steam before logging in in gamemode

and about my laptop, its a i7-13620h with RTX 4060 laptop
will run ok on the laptop? i heard some people experienced lag or blurry image when running on Nvidia

i wanted a plugin to replace Armoury Crate
so I created one that allows setting SPL, SPPL, FPPL, CPU boost, SMT and battery charge limit by profile (AC or on-battery)
incoming features include RGB control and GPU control
