Casual athletic shoes?

What’s a good pair of athletic shoes that work for casual fits? I typically have a sportier aesthetic, but looking for shoes that don’t give off a “going to the gym” or “going for a run” vibes.

reebok club c, any of the hundreds of new balance models, nike field general, adidas samba/spezial/tokyo, cons, vans.... tbh id rethink your approach a bit. You're always gonna look like ur goin to the gym or for a run if the rest of ur fit is athleisure, unless you lean really far into designer aesthetics.

Seconding the Club C. I have a pair of 85 Vintage for a couple years now and they've held up great. Cushy soles without being overly thick and soft leather.

I think chunkier trail runners can mix it up and gorpy clothes can also be really comfortable but it’s definitely different than the fit you’ve posted above
Shrimp my Ride
I'm a recent convert on onitsuka tigers. Low profile and a retro vibe.

Gorp does lean into the going for a run or going for a hike aesthetic.

Like what carrion said. If you’re wearing atheleisure and wearing athletic shoes there’s not much else to do unless you pick specific sport shoes like basketball shoes or something. But now it just looks like you’re going to do $sport. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
