i have the problem whit 1.8.8 this is why i tried 1.8.7
the two things I can think of in this scenario is either you enabled some settings in nvidia control panel 3D settings / nvidia app that breaks shaders, in which case you should reset them to defaults, or your drivers are corrupted, in which case you could try using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall your graphics drivers then reinstall them

that's normal after uninstalling drivers, reinstalling should get it back to normal (might need to restart your PC)
