Just tested this in my lab and it’s working at expected.
What version of Venus OS are you running?
I'm running it on a Cerbo which i think means updates are a bit behind? Im running V 2.11.0
Cerbo Venus OS firmware version?
v 3.55
ok, tested with that and the latest Beta firmware, both working
you did change the can connection to use vecan0 ? And then restarted the sk server?
I did yes, and i am seeing other data from the network and i am sending other signalk paths to the NMEA network. Its just the pressure data PGN isnt being recognised by anything else on the network. I have tried using the Signalk to NMEA 2000 plugin to create PGNs
ahh, ok. I was just testing inside.temperature
so it's pgn 130311 that you have enabled?
or 130314 ?
those both use the path environment.outside.pressure for input
Apologies, just realised i'm using the plugin wrong. I put the new path in the source box by mistake. I'll re-map it in node-red
Also running on Venus 3.55. Both units I have tried lately are Cerbo 2. Have tried CAN port 1 and CAN port 2. As I understand the CAN connection needs to be vecan1 if on CAN port 2?
Have done this multiple times with a Cerbo 1 and always had success. This is our first times doing it with Cerbo 2's.
I have only seen people using port 1, vecan0, so not sure about that.
We have tried both ports, and with both vecan0 and 1
If you can see the Victron data from other n2k devices, then it should work in Signal K.
@Chris BHR is yours a Cerbo 1 or 2?
Its a Mk2
All working now that i remapped the paths to environment.outside.pressure
