š High Ping in Valorant Since Start of April ā Anyone Else?
Hey guys,
Iāve been getting insanely high ping (500ms+) in Valorant since the beginning of April and itās driving me crazy. Iām on fiber, I usually get around 60-80ms to Cape Town and Bahrain, but now every game is spiking to 500+ and staying there the whole match.
Stuff Iāve already checked:
Iām on wired connection, no Wi-Fi.
Other games and downloads are totally fine.
Traceroute to Cape Town looks normal (shows ~60ms), no weird hops.
Locked my preferred servers in-game.
Network graph in Valorant just shows huge RTT the whole time.
Not sure if itās something on Riotās end or my ISP messing up routing to the game servers. If anyone else is dealing with the same issue or knows a fix, please help š
Would be great if Riot could look into this ā itās only been happening since April and I havenāt changed anything on my end.

same problem, my ping into game servers in same city is 1-5 while in valorant local is 35
try pinging your router when youre lagging

and i have sent riot so many support tickes but the things they tell me to do like the instructions and what not dont tend to work bruhh
same on me since a few time i get low fps and high ping but only in valo

is the ping there 24/7 or only at certain times

both Cape Town and Bahrain are on the AWS edge, meaning we dont have a Riot Direct POP on these, so you have to check with your provider routing towards Amazon
where are you playing from and who is your provider
