Color Blocking - Topic of the day 4/14/25

Whether inspired by Mondrian or not, the act of color blocking has been a part of wearing clothes for ages. How do you feel about color blocking in fits? Are there any colors that work really well (or conversely, really poorly)? What are some good items/fits with good color blocking?

Funny enough, Cash CA had one of my favorite flannels of all time inspired by Piet Mondrian

If anyone ever finds this one in an XL please slide into my DM's As for the topic, color blocking seems like a nice way to highlight different elements of an outfit like textures or proportions.

Color blocking is a fun way to play around with designs, like the VW harlequin is a non clothes example of color blocking being used https://service.secureoffersites.com/images/GetLibraryImage?fileNameOrId=312324

Red is cool but I don't think I wear it super often Well, I wear it enough? It's just not a color I actively seek out too much
