Longer arms than average but thinner torso

What should I do? My arms are longer than average man for my chest, waist. If I choose a shirt which fits on torso, then sleeves are too short. If I choose to maintain sleeves than the chest area is way too wide. The second instance can be corrected by tailor but it's most of the time hit and miss. Most of the shirts do not have exact measurements either. And clothes shrink post wash as well. My BMI is 17 so weight loss would not help either.

If you’re talking about button down shirts, you can find them in separate neck and sleeve measurements. I wear a 16-36, which is less common but still findable. Knowing your measurements will help a ton. If you’re talking sweatshirts or something similar you can look for “tall” or “long” sizes

My leg is 101cm. Waist 59, and shoulder is 45 chest 80 Here I only see with letters like "M", "S" and they are not completely accurate either. I know one M is short on sleeve but another M fits sleeves but baggy on torso

Regarding the variation in shirting measurements the best first step is to measure a SHIRT that fits you best. Tagged size variations are still annoying but sticking to actual garment measurements will help

I am not sure how should I manage then.. The length of sleeves or torso can not be increased... Should I just buy bigger and get tailored

Many companies sell different fits. Brooks brothers for example has 5 fits that will have the same neck and sleeve length but vary by 10 inches in the chest from widest to slimmest. But the key is you need to know your measurements. The best way, is as Moses said, to measure a shirt you already own that fits well.

This is where alpha sizing comes in. Buy something that fits the neck and sleeves (I’m a 16.5/35) then you can get the body tailored if necessary.

Also for the record, nobody here is going to tell you to lose weight, so you don’t have to worry about that
