First layer squish (possible thermal expansion)

Hello, might be a bit over my head with this post. Initial problem: in the last month(after the update to rc3)(previous last update in november 2024) I started to get inconsistent first layer where the print started perfect and as it progressed within the first layer it started to squish the filament up to the point where it almost got embedded in the pei plate. All this happened after a beacon _ratos_calibrate after the update (rc3). Many hours later (48+ actual hours) of troubleshooting I have discovered a few things: 1.heatsoak helps (allow the bed to reach a stable point of expansion) but really inconvenient and clearly a problem with the last update since the software was able to compensate before for this. 2.Run beacon_ratos_calibrate with the heated at the usual printing temperature (my case 50 C) and got almost perfect layer for the last 8 prints (one first layer of 320x210mm) 3.(In my opinion unrelated to beacon, but still intresting) playing whit the tension screw on the extruder changes drasticly the consistency of the first layer (not going too tight or too loose -variance betwen a reasonable amount of force) the extruder is not at fault since I tried to recreate the "pattern" with 2 different extruders (LDO ORBITER 2.0 and LDO OBRITER 2.5). Printer details: Vcore 4 hybrid 500, on a self leveling concrete slab, low gantry twist <0.05,bed mesh variance of 0.4 after some rigorous sanding and a few straps of kapton tape, pretty well assembled and calibrated machine in my opinion.

Thr Question is: prior to the update didn't the beacon_ratos_calibrate used to measure thermal expansion with the bed off and then to run again the procesure( 150-250-150-250C) with the bed at the defined temperature? And only after to proceed with the gantry twist check. Now the part with calibrating thermal expansion with the bed heated is missing, which in my opinion is the primary cause of first layer problems. Not accounting for the bed expansion and accounting only for the hotend thermal expansion. I saw some post here where people considered that the x-axys 2020 extrusion is at fault. True that there are also some expansioning going on, but there is nothing new after the update.
