Reboot issue
Hello all, I don't think this is really a Ratos issue but I rebooted my Ratos and now it seems like it doesn't want to connect again. Nothing has changed, it's just decided it doesn't want to work any more and gives me this saying "refused to connect" am I missing something? Or is it fucked?
Cheers
J

it isnt hosting the RATOS network so I think its connecting but just not letting me access it
Are you able to SSH to it?
I havent SSH'd to it in the past, I think im doing everything correctly but doesnt seem to be playing ball
Do you see it on your network? Should be able to view connected devices from your router
i dont have access to the router interface since its apartment building wifi which makes it more tricky
would it not have started a hotspot if it couldnt connect?
It should, yea
it hasnt done that
Would help verify that it is "on" though
can you ping it?
it is on, im looking at it right now, when it powers up the boot light flickers for a bit then calms down
that at least means it is getting powered. I'd try to ssh to it to verify it is on the network
ya im trying that at the moment, I never changed the host name so it should just be [email protected] right?
unable to open a connection
it was fine earlier today until i rebooted
can you ping it?
i cant get its ip cause i dont have access to the router
unless its in the cfg on the sd somewhere?
you can ping
ratos.local
couldnt find it
it might be worth just reconnecting the pi through the setup wizard
is there a way of getting my config off the sdcard and transfering it over?
really dont want to have to set the whole thing up again
sure, power down, remove sd card, copy files onto computer
is it just the config file? or everything? (apart from the wifi ofc)
did you edit anything other than printer.cfg?
not from memory, think it was all in there
noted then, just that one
yep, should be all you need then. Re-run through the configurator, copy over the printer.cfg, off and running
I gotta run for now but good luck!
thanks for your help, means alot
