NVIDIA GTX 1650 SUPER - Very bad flickering

Problem:
Very bad flickering, Steam crashes when trying to open.
Hardware Summary:
- bazzite-nvidia-open:stable
- Bazzite 41 (brand new install)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER

for the flickering, try setting adaptive sync to either always or never in display settings, if that doesn't help, try forcing discrete graphics in bios
as for steam, if you haven't tried

What will that do? isn't "open" using the new FOSS Nvidia kernel modules ?
nevermind, I read the GPU name wrong
yeah it changes it to the proprietary ones, older GPUs need it, but it can have better compatibility with newer ones too
what are the side effects ? any stuff to take care of ? mok keys, secure boot, etc.
