2. Working on backend microservices in Python (Flask) and/or Spring Boot (Java)
3. Working on NLP NER models in Python
Must be within GMT-9 to GMT+1 time zone

this sounds like a recruitment for a job just for you and your friend, and not a project for learning and practice. is that a fair assessment?
Yea gotta be honest this screams job posting to me and then 'yea we aren't going to pay you' type thing, I would love to be proven wrong but cynic in me says otherwise
if you plan on using linkedin, this LIKELY VIOLATES THE TERMS OF USE
https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement

@ἔρως @vince It's a project to create something useful to add distributed systems to a resume, the same way that some people enter hackathons to learn while others enter hackathons to win. Neither me nor my friend are making money off this. There's no 'mandatory hours', no 'product delivery dates', etc. You can do as much as you want when you want as long as it's an interesting project to you. I'm just stating in the post what the project needs because there's no point in having people join who don't want to use Python when we already have Python code for example.
Yep you're correct, web scraping Linkedin does violate TOS. However:
1. Almost every website has a policy against web scraping. Look at Tinder, Glassdoor, Discord, etc policies. Even public library website policies have a clause about it. No one likes a web scraper mining data
2. There are already many production web scrapers who do this anyways. How do you think job board aggregators get jobs?
Even if there is no payment this is very much a solicitation post, and we don't allow that here.
