corpus luteum also secretes the estrogen hormone

but basically concept yeh hai ki
in luteal phase the endometrium thickens due to estrogen homone which is also secreted by corpus luteum. and also the peak is lower than the first peak because the primary job of corpus luteum is to release progesterone, secondary is estrogen so the peak is lower than the first one
