will this shirt make me smell weird
thinking about summer dressing and interested in this plisse shirt from issey miyake, but not sure if it will smell weird if I get really sweaty (due to polyester). This is really case by case by person/fabric, so I am sure is probably hard to answer this question, but interested in hearing from other people who own issey miyake stuff -- do you wear it during hot weather?

Haven't had any issues with issey and synthetics. You do have to use oxi clean or sport detergent when you wash them though, or they'll accrue scent over time
White vinegar does wonders for poly smell (I wear a lot of sports kit).
How much do you plan on sweating with this on
Probably fine if you wear a tank underneath but that might be too warm
I'm not going to run a marathon in it but probably a standard amount of city walking when it's like 90 F or whatever
I will get decently sweaty
It's fine! I've sweated in mine a ton bc of the last few heatwave summers.
Love synthetics for sweaty days
I sweat very easily and even though polyester doesn’t breathe as much its actually a better fabric for wicking smell
All my synthetic stuff works fine in the summer
I think especially because it’s a lighter tone you won’t attract enough heat to it for it to be an issue
