Freezing midgame constantly and horrible ping spikes
Hi, recently i've started to notice that my game randomly freezes in the middle of a game for like 5-30seconds at a time, where my entire screen is just frozen and when it unfreezes i usually end up teleporting to some random place I was never at previously, making the game unplayable and not enjoyable at all. I believe it is a result of ping spiking so high because when I queue with my friend he tells me that I have invisible ping (indicating super high ping to the point where i dc) when my game freezes. I do not know how to fix this and have tried searching online and if anyone could give me guidance on how to fix this that would be greatly appreciated. This issue did not always happen as i've been playing previously with no problem and everything perfectly fine but just last week this started happening and I have no idea why.
On top of this, starting today it is so bad to the point where my game entirely shuts down with a connection error message and it forces me to restart my entire game (i forgot to screenshot this but basically it freezes, then tells me i got a valorant connection error and the only option is to exit the game and I have to close valorant).

I am suspecting the root cause of all this is ping, especially the extreme spiking but it doesn't seem to be wifi related as my roommates who play valorant do not seem to have the same ping issues as me so it must be something on my end, but i am unsure as to what it is
I've tried reinstalling the game and also looked up some youtube tutorials on "how to fix valorant freezing" but none of them seemed to help
I will try queuing a game and the next time it freezes i'll clip it to try showing my pov on it
weird but seems to never happen in the range
Got a clip from midgame

sounds like a hardware problem, maybe enable all the graphs to check if CPU spikes
Ok i will try today and let you know
this is so weird but the freezing issue hasnt happened today but instead now something else is happening
now its just constant rubber banding that makes the game unplayable
like everywhere i walk i rubber band and teleport
and when i peek someone it teleports me
i went in a custom game and clipped what i am experiencing

if you watch this i am consistently rubber banding every 1-10 seconds
and this is just straight line walking
when im in an actual game and trying to jiggle peek or smth it fucks me up and loses rounds and teleports me making the game unenjoyable and unplayable
i noticed that when i rubber band the network rtt graph spikes, not sure what that is indicative of
nvm i lied the freezing thing happens still
now i got both freezing + rubber banding 💀

here's a clip of the freezing with all the graphs turned on im not sure what the graphs mean but if you are able to help that would be greatly appreciated
yeah it's your cpu
wait no
I'm blind no it's not
it's both!
So what can i do about it? Like is my cpu defective
Idk how to fix sorry idk much about this stuff
Is it fixable or is the only way to get a new pc or smth
Could be a lot of reasons, like over heating, a virus or jsut a bad cpu. or drivers.
How should i check if I have the best drivers?
I use nvidia to download the latest drivers for my gpu but idk how to do for cpu if that is something different
and i am pretty sure i dont have a virus
unless it is hidden
overheating might be it
I'd suggest uninstalling them with display driver Uninstaller and reinstalling them from the Nvidia website.
probably.
