Problem with machine sockets

When i was putting in the pins, i noticed one of the sockets was larger, and the pin does not lock into it. Is this something that is fixable, or do I need to request a new one?

It sounds like you're having trouble with Mill-Max hotswap sockets. If the pin isn't locking into the socket, it may be faulty. For a possible fix, try carefully tightening the socket with tweezers. If that doesn't work, contact us at [email protected] for a replacement. Let me know if you need further assistance!

I can rotate it in such a position that it lines up with one of the two neighbouring ground pins, and now I'm wondering if I can bridge them with a blob of solder on the MCU 🤔 Replacement ordered, so this is resolved.
