IS Noob needs help with Y axis shaper :/
Hey I am fairly new to IS and my Y axis looks shit, I dont knw what could be causing it, could someone with a little IS experience maybe have a look?

It looks quite ok, check klippain shake&tune guide, there is more information. Y axis is twice heavier than X, so its normal it is looking not as good as X
ye but this is how it looked before I had to redo my belts (I had to put a new part cooling duct, because I broke mine in a crash)
and I havent really changed anything, I am wondering what this difference could be caused by
also isnt the recommended accel quite slow?
I would have expected like 8k, or am I wrong?
On a 500mm hybrid machine, 6k would be quite good. Yours do not look bad at all, you could maybe get it a bit better using GATS

I think thats overkill... i think my tension is already very equal... I measured it with a tension gauge... my only small concern was, that I archived this with non equal amout of turns on the tensioners, even though, my Y belts have the excact same amount of teeth (I counted and checked like 20 times) it was off by 2 turns on the tension... but I do not believe that this is the reason my graphs look different to before... I think its because my umbilical is slightly differently attached and because some screws might not have the same torque as before...
well just fuck it I guess... 5.8k accell is good enough, no?
Before I converted my 500 hybrid machine to idex I had a similar recommended accel value, should be good enough. Its only for the outer walls anyways, everything else just send it with max possible accel.
