Internet (Ethernet) stops working when updating mods
Hi, I'm having this ** problem with the SMM, I check for updates, shows x available... and when I click update, it starts downloading but a few seconds later, THE WHOLE PC, losses access to the Internet (I'm using cable via ethernet, not wifi).
The modem works fine (Since the mobile phones are connected to the wifi and have no problem).
BUT, the Ethernet cable that I'm using in the PC is the one that stops working.
I can't reconnect until I restart the PC.
When I restart the PC, I use SMM and shows no update available (Even if I certainly know that of the 7, it barely started downloading just 1 before the problem happens).
I'm lost at any ideas on how to solve this. 😦

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel.
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
I'm pretty sure SMM just uses curl to grab from a remote endpoint over HTTPS. That in itself shouldn't be responsible for a network fallover without that network having some serious issues elsewhere. But the fact that a check after restart shows no updates available suggests 1) They did actually update, your network problems elsewhere were coincidental symptoms of something else; 2) It didn't update, and something is still blocking SMM from querying the API. The SMM logs should help us get a better look at what SMM itself is doing.
