Low FPS but I have a decent rig

I have had problems with my FPS for a very long time, I fixed it a while ago and it randomly plummeted again I get around 50 FPS with complementary shaders with around 100ish mods alot of them are optimization mods and other quality of life mods nothing major (I dont think). If anyone could give me tips or help me out that would be amazing. One thing that is kind of weird is Sodium actually lowered my FPS for some reason, I get 200 fps with no shaders and I got more without Sodium. RTX 3060ti AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 16 Gig with 8 allocated to Minecraft

everything seems in check. You might want to see if it's some kind of mod compatibility issue by loading only sodium and iris also just FYI Complementary v4 is very old and a little bit broken. r5.4 is much better

Ahh yeah I only use v4 because I customized the hell out of it Is there anyway to check? I have a lot of mods and going through them individually seems like it would take years

Yeah must be a mod that is screwing with it or something solid 100 standing in what used the be the most resource heavy area on my world Alright I have deleted some mods going to check and see if it worked About 20+ FPS thats alright thanks for telling me to start with iris and sodium first, I was literally going to through them 1 by 1 lol @Slooshie

a good method to singling out a problematic mod is a binary search, or as we call it, the thanos method

What is The Thanos Method? The Thanos Method™️ (more accurately known as a binary search) is a debugging technique used to find the mod or mods that are causing the issues you are experiencing. The method is simple: to find the conflicting mods, split your mods folder into 2 groups. Remove one group, and test in-game. Keep the group that has the problem, and repeat until no more mods can be removed without the issue disappearing. Thanks to The Thanos Method™️, you can now enjoy an issue free modded Minecraft! "The Thanos Method" is not actually trademarked or even remotely considered an official name. Please don't sue, it was just considered funny. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/731716903742996531/873271100602220584/2951.1490520804.gif?ex=67042816&is=6702d696&hm=e987a97ff190ed7a7c17a3c64b5e60b05cd5ad40b1d69186d77bc7820f02cc3e&
