Worth having these tapered?
Found these at gap factory of all places and dig the styling but the opening is too big for my liking. Is it worth getting a tailor to taper and hem or should I just find a better quality pair off the rack?
Any other suggestions for this style?

tapering these would look goofy IMO.
they feel too tapered to begin with tbh and like they dont really fit anyway
Think my post was confusing, first pic was an ill fitting pair to illustrate (removed) Unless those remaining pics still fit strange? The cuffing is creating a fake taper, regular opening is pretty floppy.
not really strange, just dated. extreme tapers were real trendy in the 2010s is all.
personally i don't think it looks great as is because the seat & thighs are relaxed but the legs (already) have a pretty sharp taper, causing a mismatch in what the pants are trying to achieve. Tapering further will only exacerbate things.
I think if you're looking for a relaxed fit, you just need to spend some time getting used to wider leg openings.
just saw that second edit. Maybe upload pics of the uncuffed version so we can see whats goin on.
Sure thing

ya these look fine to me as is, not worth tapering imo just a mental adjustment
those look fine to me imo
the opening/whatever break would probably be less weird looking with shoes on
