Waste Shielding mod (@kiligir) - Biowaste in Blender issue with Somersloops
Hi @kiligir (Waste Shielding),
Getting back into Satisfactory again and have noticed that when using somersloops in the blender with the "biowaste" recipe, the blender sits idle. Removing them does not fix the problem and requires dismantling and rebuilding the blender (even switching to another recipe doesn't work). Running with no somersloops works as expected, but adding them in following production as soon as it completes the "regular" production, it idles again.
Thanks,
Pete

Probably an issue with the recipe creating too much per cycle for the output buffer. Try installing this: https://ficsit.app/mod/LargeFluidOutputBuffers

That might be it - I've just knocked it on the head tonight and I'll have another look tomorrow. I'll reply back if successful
Still, I can half everything (cycle time included) and that'll fix it. I'll look at this when I get a minute. Axcd's fluid overhaul mod is also great for this, IIRC.
Been so busy I haven't got to play 1.0 at all... I have ideas for some other changes to modernize the mod since CSS totally stole my thunder. :blameSimon:
Cheers @McCovican that solved the issue and works as intended (needed to check dynamic buffer as it went above the 100 default and couldn't be bothered to set manual limits)
@kiligir (Waste Shielding) Sounds good mate - I'm now at 70 mods now and I'd rather not have to add more 😂 The packaged biowaste to biofuel recipe in the refinery might need addressing at some point (perhaps just liquid biowaste and sulfur ore instead of SA as currently with the somersloops...Free fluid tanks🤠) .
I know what its like to be busy as - I have ideas but no real time rn to get into it (that and my main pc system is 6500 miles away from me atm and I'm using a potato system with no dGPU from 2012🤣 ).
