Are you want prebuilt or make by your own self
i would like recommendations for both
i havenโt decided yet
Are you using your pc for productivity + gaming or gaming only
i mean the occasional browsing + schoolwork but i have a laptop for that so 99% gaming
What is your current spec laptop?
itโs an hp envy
not a gaming laptop
i have an acer nitro xvi monitor (144hz) and a g512 carbon keyboard attached to it
Is there any negotiation like what color you mostly like or other
Cause white theme pc can be more expensive than black color
i want black cause my monitor and keyboard are both black
my budget is around $1000
i want like the best equipment for my money but also no need for like a setup that can do way more than what i need
Let me find the result of pc that can possible be match to your personal
thank you
Is air cooling okay for you. Cause liquid cooling can be expensive i also make sure you gpu as budget as possible with 1k
Also how many ram do you need and storage
air cooling is fine
i mean iโm not sure but the
standard good ram and storage should work for me
sorry i donโt know too much
Hey bro i gave you all the part on the list, sorry if this 60$ more cause i'll try minimize the price of your personal computer i choose ddr5 mobo so you can upgrade future proof

I make psu 750w just to make sure your pc is safe. Since most cheap psu can easily explode
thank you so much
my last question is where do i find how to build it
For pre build one i choose this from amazon

Usually in amazon there alot of those, but if you live in micro center you can find more cheaper
which one do you think is better
no like how do i build it
There many tutorials on youtube i haven't try making any new pc, since my house has limitations of space
i see
thank you
is this โyeyianโ trustable tho? i know some sites arenโt so i want to make sure
Usually i hear put components to mother board first like cpu and ram also ssd and tight it with screw and plug liquid cooling after that place assembly the psu to all connections like motherboard and gpu also there is pin connector to tell which to plug in
You can't find other store if you want feel more secure buying pc part
Sometimes rtx 4060 getting cheaper now but it lacks of vram

is this one better
This can't be 1k since making by self usually cheaper and my custom pc already more than 1k include ship
it was 999 and now itโs 899
Wow, i still can't trust with that amount price
is this one trustable tho ? in your opinion
I'd say no. It could be downgrade of spec as not matching of images and text what the product said
you chose that one though lol
i think i might just do the self build you suggested
i just donโt know where to find how to build it
Well i never buy pc from online i usually buy from offline so i can see in real time
Does your country had micro center
There alot pre built pc there
Even laptop i think
i donโt want a laptop
there isnโt one nearby
Where you living?
northern cali
i might just do the build you suggested in pcpartspicker
I suggest hire some1 that can build it for your pc
The psu is hardest part of making it
i heard it wasnโt that hard to build one tho
Yea. But sometimes when turning pc on there can be issue
i see
But i still suggest don't buy it from online since i still see most youtuber cases not what expecting from the description when buying it
iโll build my own then
iโll look at ur build first
is amd ryzen 7 better than i5
iโm also thinking amd ryzen 5
7600x
I choose intel since i can see you also focus at school work while gaming
They are almost 2 times expensive in amazon and it also has less cores which not great for productivity
school work isnโt a priority
cause i can use my laptop
I see but are you sure choosing amd?
i want maybe amd ryzen 5 7600x but idk if itโs good
thatโs the thing
idk if itโs better
i assume it is cause itโs 2x more
The only thing i like intel is that usually has more core and has e core and p core both functions differently and p core can more focus in games
Right
Oh yeah 5 7600 and 5 7600x almost performed same
But it can cost little bit much
so you think intel i5 is better for val
both cpu optimize in valorant are optimized unless you change it speed frequency
so no difference?
it depends on generation also series behind cpu like, X3D, KS, KF, K, And X
there alot more
what about this
yes?
do u have a monitor? 240 hertz
A 150$ pc can probably run valorant on 200 fps.
valroant can run on pretty much a potato tbh
I don't think he only plays valorant.
he did ask whats a good pc for valorant under 1000
We don't know what he usually plays caused people buy pc for other things not valorant.
Lets be honest if he play valorant or other light weight game it's still reasonable. But for 1k pc is just diabolical cause i know he might need it for future proof.
Tbf i would also focus on the 1000 part rather than the valorant part
If they are willing to spend 1k then make use of everything
Also its obvious they will eventually play other games on the pc
I was making an unrelated statement.
I can related this, most games now are required 12gb vram. It can also affected for workstation or even rendering.
nah i only have 144
and while i only play val right now, i wanna to play more games but my laptop canโt handle it
thatโs why i want a good pc
but like i donโt need one thatโs a space station
just one that i can rely on
i came up with this

Make sure to have money left for buying other stuff also
Like keyboard mouse headphones etc
Make sure if it's 0 bottleneck
i have all that already
oh then its all good
and i ended up buying a prebuilt
amd ryzen 7 8700F
16 GB mem
rtx 4060 8 GB
2 TB SSD
buy me 1
Where did you find this?
best buy
Amazon?
Oh my bad
You have ordered it?
yea
This one?

Ngl with 1.1k on custom build could get liquid cooling
yeah that one
nah
prebuilt is cheaper
and i can upgrade it later if i need to
thank you guys for the help tho
