LODS failing/corrupted on Wynncraft Multiplayer
At first it was just rendering the lowest quality LODs until I forced it to reload everything by toggling cave culling. After re-downloaded the mod, it stopped making LODs altogether and giving me these corrupted transitions instead. I know it says Wynntils is installed there, but the problem began weeks before that. I've tried deleting the LOD data for the server and starting fresh, and that only works sporadically: It's a flip of the coin if it'll actually load anything when I log in.
I can toggle distant generation and the corrupted bits will disappear and reappear. Yes, I've also turned off Wynntil's fullbright thing.

And we're back to low-quality LODs rendering in:

One reload later we're back to no LODs:

Never mind, they're just mildly-corrupted LOD transitions showing Wynntils' extended map for some reason.:

how about just DH
does that work?
No. I tried disabling everything before. The mod itself works in Singleplayer, it's just the server that doesn't work.
Confirmed it wasn't working at all during the lapse: No LODs were generated at all. So there's a deeper failure than just a rendering problem.

No LODs were generated at allyou mean LODs in your render distance right? Distant generation will not work. does the logs contain anything useful? /logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Yes. As in I explored these areas while the corrupted LODs were appearing, and they didn't save. The log is over 100 MB in size, so I can't send it here.
But pparently there's a fix for that, so I'll go do that now
well there sure are a lot of errors
but those should all be ignorable
the openGL stuff
and it also happened without wyntills right?
to fix the errors, use the nightly build from #links-n-downloads
Yup. All on its own.
you could try deleting your LODs and/or config, but i doubt thatll fix it. but i dont have any other ideas

Like I said: Already deleted. This is a fresh LOD folder. I'll try the nightlies.
It did not work. In fact, I don't even know what it's showing me this time around:

What the heck
I have no idea either, sorry
Update: Turning off LODS before joining a server, then turning them on after, seems to fix the issue, if only temporarily.
Confirmed: Turning on DH only after joining fixes the issue consistently.

It's like once it bugs out the first time, there's no actual way to force a full, hard reset.
