Gantry Twist & Bed Mesh Issues on RatRig V-Core 4 500

Hey everyone, I'm running into some issues with my V-Core 4 500 and could use some advice. I'm dealing with gantry twist and bed mesh inconsistencies, which are affecting my first-layer quality. On the assembly phase, we did use a water level to align the 3030 extrusions, but the result is always incorrect according to the sensor. Has anyone else dealt with this on a V-Core 4 500? Any tips or guides to adjust the frame? I also attached the bed mesh shape and the gantry twist values Thanks in advance for any help!

Yeah, your frame needs adjusting, use this part of the commisioning guide to fix it https://docs.ratrig.com/v-core-4-0/commissioning-guide#C-buildplateprep , from step 6 onwards

Did you Z Tilt before the mesh?

Yes I always do Z tilt before meshing and gantry twist measurement Any pointers on how to adjust? Because when I adjust the frame to the bed mesh shape, the gantry twist is worse and worse It feels like there is inverse relations between the bed mesh and the gantry twist. If I fix the gantry twist, the bed mesh then become bad, but if fix the bed mesh, the gantry twist become bad

Fix one at a time, right now your mesh is the first thing you should focus on. With the way it is right now, I would say that it is also the reason for the twist I find that the explanation from the commisioning guide on how to adjust the frame is quite good

I did adjust the frame so many times even for a whole month, and I can safely say focusing the mesh won't work. I even reached the mesh range < 0.1 and the first layer results is really bad. Fixing the mesh would make the twist worsens

Then it could be that the bed is warped. Did you do a mesh before attaching the heater/magnetic sheet? You can also try to turn the PEI sheet 90 degrees and see how it looks. The PEI sheets can also influence the mesh

Agree with the PEI plate comment, I had bad gantry twist with my provided RatRig 500 plate. I bought a plate from Lukes Laboratory and without any changes, my gantry twist was fixed. I also found that just by adjusting the feet, I could adjust the bed mesh.

Having the same issue on my VCore 500. My bed mesh looks decent, However, I have a magbed and had to use faulty regions. Not sure if that is screwing up the gantry twist test.

This worked for me! First one is from the textured PEI sheet that came with the ratrig. The second one is a smooth PEI sheet I had from Tiny Machines.
