Chunks not saving/updating in multiplayer
I am using DH on a multiplayer server that doesnt have the plugin. I know the chunks wont update until I go to them but they arent updating LOD at all. Chunks I previously travel to become very very poor quality is this normal? I thought it would save the chunks I have been to and update them once I got closer but instead it seems like after I get so far the LOD just gets stuck at a low level forever if that makes sense.

you mean they decrease in visual quality with distance? thats intended behavior
the quality isnt updating from like the lowest value even when im right beside the chunk
oh then that's just them being slow
turn up cpu load
How fast that happens depends on your CPU preset
it doesnt do anything it still doesnt update
in my single player world it works fine but multiplayer it hasnt been working
like i said its like its stuck int he lowest mode or something its weird
it doesnt really look very normal idk if it has been corrupted or something somehow but the land is almost like transparent sometimes idk if that is normal for very far chunks
the chunk lod right beside me looks like it should be for the chunks 128+ blocks away
and doesnt update no matter how long I wait or if i change preset or how many cores generation uses
is it possible that the file just got corrupted somehow or something and that is why it wont update anymore?
You'd at least get some sort of error in the client log if that was the case
Which version are you using? If not the latest nightly; grab that and see if it helps
im on 2.3.0-b
is there a newer version i should use
also would log be in chat or do i need to check a file
