New IDEX 500 pre-build problems and need help to decide what to do

So I received today a IDEX 500 that has been prebuild for my business. At first sight the machine looks good, also I don't need the most perfect graphs, the machine needs to be a workhorse and needs to be reliable. But when we (me and my team) looked deeper into it we found problem after problem. And I want to know if this is fixable. I have contacted the seller and I'am waiting for his reply but I want to be prepared if I need to put in effort to fix it. So the main list of (all) problems and some of them we have fixed allready: - During transport TMC2209 heat-sink came lose (we used thermal glue to glue it back) - Mounts for oose guards are broken - Gantry is not squared, when pulled to Y=0 the left side is touching the end and the right side not - When measuring the frame diagonally we have a 5mm difference - Missmatch in fans for the extruder, one is sunon other is GDSTIME ( is this normal? ) - Also I paid to have the machine fully configured and setup but when I look at the IS table it is all zero's and no values are stored. - Difference between T0 and T1 with VOAC is 0.07mm

While you can obviously go ahead and fix this yourself, since you paid a large amount for the printer to be built and configured the obvious solution is for them to properly fix this machine that cost you 6k. I'm sorry for hammering this home again, but you paid for a service that wasn't provided

I know, so let's give him a change to make it right and if not then I need to spend some nights on this

No, you need to get your money back

Is there somewhere an example of what a realistic setup and graphs are for IDEX 500

okay but there are no result directly from ratrig?

I just read trough the comissioning guide and I'm going to try some things to see if there is some improvements but I have maybe found more problems and missing things by reading it Apparently there is a grub screw to fix the set tension on the belts, well let's just say that I the bold where lose and that the grub screw isn't set

most of the 500 idex people are aiming for 6k accel on mzv with as low vibrations as possible

Some of this may be explained by the transportation of it. The cracked ooze guard holders will cause your poor shaper graphs. Take them off once the printer is homed and run the shaper. If you do this make sure you put it back on straight away as that ooze guard triggers the y end stop when homing the machine. I had similar cracks in mine from over tightening of the grub screws and the ooze guard set too high From my limited experience and impatience even with a graph that looks like that it will still print with more than acceptable results. Might be worth squaring the thing up and print something and see if you’re happy with it. Otherwise you will end up like a lot of us on here that just keep chasing a better graph when what we had would’ve been completely fine.

Yeh honestly, this isn't as catastrophic as I was expecting going off all the chat about it in the other channel. It's genuinely what I would expect when transporting a fully assembled large frame extrusion machine As you say, see if your guy will come sort it, but - I also wouldn't be demanding my money back. Perhaps I'd want a refund on the shipping cost, but that's about it. They've still done an immense amount of work, and you're nowhere near 'start again' territory. I would be having a chat to the seller about maybe advising buyers about the risks of transporting a large machine like this though, to be honest it certainly isn't a business I would want to be involved with. These machines are not made to be sold as pre-assembled machines, they're just not suited to it. I'm sure it's why RatRig developed the Disrupt Engineering line rather than just assembling RatRig's.

I would say the unsquare frame is the biggest problem
