Hey @Sitta 🙂
Are you using the sub-level / level streaming workflow in this project?
I have one sub level for my lighting, but other than that, no...
The scatter is on the persistent level

hmm alright, very strange. Is the DashSceneData actor still in the outlier?
If you open that, and then in the details panel you can check its JSON and see if the data is still there.
If you don't find it, or the JSON in it is more or less empty, the only way I can see that happening is that the DashSceneData actor was removed🤔
Hmm did the DashSceneData actor get added in the latest version? I might have created the scatters in the previous version before i updated to 1.9
Nah, that save logic I believe came in 1.7 if I remember correctly, could the project be that old?
No, i created it around the time 1.9 was released. The DashSceneData actor was missing indeed. No idea how it got deleted, certainly not on purpose.
Ait ait. Hmm sorry to hear that 😕 don't know of any way to bring it back, unless you are using some version control/backup
But I would start with restarting UE and maybe the pc just to see if it magically comes back, but unlikely ofc
it came back when i created a new scatter 😄
so i doubt the old one will come back, hehe
I converted the old scatters to foliage, that will be enough for now
yee doing a new one will create a fresh save actor if a previous one did not exist!
So ye that's probably the best idea, doing foliage paint of it🙌
