Issey Miyake Pleated Pants?
Following up from earlier, do these pants line up with my inspo and style from your guys POV?

Tbh not really, I think pleats stuff is deceptively hard to style well, especially in white
not even remotely
also worth stating, these pants had a huge moment like 2 years ago where everyone was pushing them as like "elevated basics" which resulted in an influx of knockoffs and fakes but more importantly, it resulted in a bunch absolutely bricked fits
Also if you're getting the plisse ones they're kinda sheer

Yeah as someone who’s in a similar wave as you I pondered these pants extensively a while back but ultimately decided they don’t really fit all that well with what I like to wear
I think they have cool applications here and there but ultimately I don’t think they’re all that versatile or cohesive within the context of your wardrobe
That being said I still think this is one of the best fits ever

I do want to add that if u feel like something is dragging you away from whatever style goals you have for an extended period of time, it's worth it to explore. I havent had a consistent style for longer than a couple years at most over the last 15 years. It's good and healthy to try new shit.
Does it fit with what u got going on rn? Not really, but if you still want em bad in a few months there might be a reason why.
Worst comes to worst u waste some money and look goofy. Lotta people are afraid of both of those outcomes but its the only way to really get it sometimes
i own a fair of pleats, and they're fine, but i think it has to match what you have going on. it's not something that necessarily just slots into a wardrobe.
Also I’d say the key here is if you still want em bad IN A FEW MONTHS

i recall these were an mfad microtrend about a year ago - there were good fits featuring them or similar but not many people are wearing them presently (Jibba does, as seen here https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1349448436897812510)
