any advice for summer outfits?
You can't really do layering with jackets, and you can only really have tanks or t shirts,
but a t shirt and shorts don't really add much to an outfit.
I look bad in baggy; my arms and legs are sort of slim. I will work out more and wear more fitted clothes.
I only look good in tight black shorts because of how much more muscular it makes my legs look, but i can only wear shorts when im shirtless or have a compression tank or a tee.
To make things less bland, any combinations, tips, outfits, or accessories you recommend? I'm planning to use more accessories to make my arms and outfit look less bare.

Your shorts also don’t have to be skin tight
heyo, it's definitely true you're down to one or two layers but there's a lot of options even in that catgeory. I wouldn't limit yourself on width based on your build, you can wear it regardless imo
there are a lot of variations in short length, width, material that you can play with
this also goes for shirts / t shirts
In fact in the summer it’s actually best if none of your clothes are skin tight
i just need shorts that are short and a little tight
Patagonia baggies
too baggy
make my legs look like a mummy
I promise you they don’t
i think this is a self perception issue rather than anything objective
Could do a bike short if you could suffer the tightness

yeah you look a lot like me
but my legs are a little larger
i could rock a fishnet top
Saysky flow 2" shorts.
not that short
mid thigh
4-6 inch short

A comfy unisex shirt, in unbleached cotton. Its relaxed shape and breathable fabric, make it an ideal summer essential. Features- Cloth + wood buttons for closure.- Made in soft 100% cotton Care - Hand wash mild soap separately- Scrunch softly after wash - After washing, hang dry (preferably on a hanger)- Iron at mediu

hmm
i think i could pair a really cool pair of sun glasses with a black fishnet top and shorts
Sounds great.
well i def cant wear a fishnet top thoughh
Why not
Sky's the limit, wear whatever you like
You can even tone it down by wearing a shirt under it

hmm
maybe something like this
shorts instead perhaps
or thin pants
just a compression tank, straight leg pants or shorts, gold chain or two, a bracelet and a ring
ill see
maybe a fishnet/rhinestone shirt with a black tank under
could layer an unbuttoned short sleeve shirt over it
when i need to take it off JUST PUT IT IN MY BAG MUAHAHH
wide shorts are good, so are baggies, so are loose clothes in general. you probably do not look as bad as you think in these clothes; it might just be a case of having to adjust your eye
big shirt and shorts is a good combo, and you can button or unbutton and roll or unroll the sleeves as much as you want

I’ve found that a nice belt, a watch & a hat are great for accessorising in absence of layering - a lot of my summer & holiday fits are really just a plain white t shirt that fits me well & cotton or linen trousers but tucking in the shirt means you can have fun with coordinating & contrasting the belt, watch, shoes and hat
i would echo what many folks have said about potential limiting beliefs around what you can and can’t wear. for many years i would say to myself that i could not wear anything other than long sleeves & trousers. i would dismiss out of hand the idea of short sleeves & shorts. over time, i realise that dismissing a whole category of clothing or type of style really prevented me from finding the right version of the garment that made me feel good because i had drawn a line around short sleeves as a whole for example. now i have a few really great short sleeved shirts i enjoy wearing & i am still working on finding shorts that spark joy. maybe there are some loose fitting styles that you have overlooked because of a similar approach to rules around types of clothes.
the eye adjustment is so true. I got some straight fit jeans a while ago after only having slim for years and they seemed so big. Then I got some.baggy jeans and now the straight ones feel small almost.
A ribbed tank with a drapey unbuttoned shirt on top is a good combo
this was what i was thinking
