Forge for 1.21.3?
Hello
Is there a Forge version for 1.21.3?
The NeoForge one doesn't work.
Optifine is literally only working source of stack-count-dependent item textures in 1.21.3, so I have to use Forge (not NeoForge, tried).
I'm bad at searching stuff up properly so please help 😦

Optifine still uses forge?
Why?
yes. no idea why. i wish it did not
Go bug them about a Neoforge Version I guess
Solution
Or preferably, give up on optifine
the worst part is
i dont WANT optifine
but here's list of stuff that is NOT working in 1.21.3:
>CIT-Resewn: Not updated to 1.21.2/3 since dev works on complete rework of format
>Variants-CIT: no built-in module to handle item count as handler
>OptiFabric: Not updated past 1.20
>Chime: Not updated past 1.20
and it has to be 1.21.3 because 1.21.4 breaks plugins server is gonna use
so basically optifine is my only chance at
Stack dependent items
(like 2 apples here)
I even asked if there is chance they'd do fork that's just CIT stuff so that people could patch that fork to work on fabric
"just use CITresewn"
I wish
Is stack dependant items really that important to you?
I'm autistic and I got fixated
it's annoying
it's a problem that has bunch of potential solutions and every one has something wrong with it
And you can't use 1.21.1?
server ditches the off-version synchronization mod for the 1.21.3 because it desyncs some basic MC features
so it has to be 1.21.3 specifically
it did have compatibility plugin earlier
in last (Technically current but story is over) season, 1.20.2
No idea what that means but alright
No DH then i guess
there was plugin that allowed
wrong version to connect
Via backwards?
say, 1.20.1 or 1.20.4
to 1.20.2 server
something like that
since that plugin wont be in 1.21.3 version of server, I can't use 1.21.1
btw i must say i am really confused
wasnt neoforge supposed to be compatible with forge mods? Isn't that why it's named neo-forge instead of something else?
why isnt forge mod working on neoforge
No Neoforge mods are not compatible with forge
"NeoForge is a mod loader for Minecraft. NeoForge can currently run all Forge mods. NeoForge mods can commonly be found from Modrinth and CurseForge."
>but optifine refuses to work on it :/
Where is that from
google
No it's not

From the wiki, okay
It's outdated
Probably because it's the fandom
And people moved on from fandom
fair
honestly ill have to give up on the item count dependent stuff cuz lets be honest, optifine is just not optimized enough compared to fabric alternatives :/
it just sucks that there are like 4 projects that could make stuff work but none of them do lol
Yea true
