Finding Staff, Media, or even co-owner for a small server?
What are some great sources to look for people who are interested and how to determine who are qualified?
Solution:Jump to solution
For media I had a friend that invited (free) and paid some small/medium sized streamers to join their server
Naturally most people only join while the streamer is on, but a lot of people stayed after they left...

Iโve tried to get people from my own community but no one is really qualified. Also tried to hire people from helpchat, but people only do paid offer and they barely got anything done after I paid themโฆ
Outsite your community people will only do paid offer
How are people in your community not qualified?
Iโm absolutely fine will paid offers but I donโt really know where I can find offers
From helpchat Iโve paid a few people, but it ends up like getting 3 screenshots posted on Instagram as โserver promotionโ for $30, making a short with literally no edit in 5 min for $10, or getting 50 โactive playersโ by scamming people โjoin for free nitroโ that charged me $20โฆ
Basically I did not get any helpful experiences with helpchat
In terms of moderators/admin: itโs difficult for players to be unbiased when giving perks,
Dev/builder/media/co-owner: people just donโt know it
In terms of moderators/admin I don't think you'll find anyone completely unbiased from the start
You usually get the most trustworthy (most, not necessarily completely) people in your community and start with trial-mod/helper with supervision.
You'll have to keep an eye on them for a couple of weeks and give them enough training, if they are now qualified, then you give them mod/helper and eventually promote them to admin/mod
Thatโs true
I don't want to get misunderstood with "give them enough training", those people are probably going to dedicate their time to help you for free, so treat them with respect and give them incentives/rewards for helping
My most need is really media atm
For dev/builder/co-owner, yh, those you'll have to find them somewhere else if helpchat is no longer an option
Or co-owner who understands how to get people and build community
Bc as itโs still relatively small a mod/admin isnโt that needed

The paid ones had to do a couple of hours per week btw
May I get some more info on how much u paid them and where U found them?
Also what is โsmall/mediumโ in your opinion
Tbh, I'm not sure, it wasn't my server
Oh ok
But they paid differently depending on the size
10-80 average spectators
Some approximation?
And maybe how
Iโve tried to ask streamers on twitch before
But It didnโt work for me at all
How did you invited them? If you write them in the chat they'll probably took you as spammer
Dm or some have business emails
let me ask
