Media Streaming Services (Netflix, Apple TV+, etc.)

Hi, looking at getting a ROG Ally X to use as a living room pc and running Bazzite on it, how friendly are streaming service apps? Is there native controller support or are running the apps in Windows a better option? Thanks!

I don’t even think Netflix or Apple make streaming apps for Linux.

most of them are available via web browser (and kiosk mode in game mode). One notable standout is Peacock which doesn't work in Linux

Lethal, thanks! New to Bazzite, is there a walkthrough to add shortcuts for web pages in game mode?

I wouldn't recommend using those browser versions either, they usually cap out at 720p because of asinine anti-piracy reasons. Or at least Netflix does, I can't quite say for all the others. There's not really any good way to do it from what I know

What about using the streaming android apps on waydroid? I don’t use it myself but I’ve read about it on similar topics.
