blocks in the distance look untextured/ugly
rendered blocks in the distance look untextured while on youtube videos it looks completely normal, what can i do to fix it? for example the leaves look odd, i have no idea why its like that

They look untextured, because they are untextured.
To determine how to render a block, DH just takes the average color of a block and applies a bit of noise to that.
You can either
- Increase the amount of noise applied, and see if that looks better to you
- Increase the mc render distance, so the LODs are only appearing further away, where the missing textures are a lot less noticable
how exactly can i do it?
and i dont think i can set render distance to over 32 chunks, can i?
You can't in vanilla. I'd recommend a RD of around 12 chunks, works nicely for me

-> Graphics
-> Noise Texture
