Server-side setup
I have put the DH .jar in the /mods folder and started the fabric server. I see in the server start-up terminal output that it is loading DH, but when I connect to the serve via a vanilla client, there's nothing changed. /dh commands work neither in the game nor in the terminal.
Am I missing a setup step? All it says is to drop it in the /mods folder.
MC version 1.21.4, newest DH release, newest Fabric server launcher (1.10 for 1.21.4).
This is the last bit of terminal output (I can't scroll it for some reason):

do you have any other mods installed on the server?

Check what jar you put in the server, I found that I was getting a similar issue, it was because it was the client jar in the mods folder
Try joining with a client with dh installed
Well I have been using dh locally on my mac. If I join the server with that active though, won't it just use that?
DistantHorizons-neoforge-fabric-2.3.0-b-1.21.4.jar is in the /mods folder
I'd just do as Puhpine says then
No if you see a /dh while on a server it's for the server
I'm not sure I understand. DH is working when I launch my modded Minecraft profile, but I thought the point was that when friends without the mod join, it works even for them
No, that's not how it works
No that's not true
Solution
They are able to join, but can't use dh
Ahhh got it
