server side and client side, using beta, not rendering beyond normal MC

Im getting a odd bug after adding the Beta to the server, aswell as the client where i get a dark border along the edge of normal minecraft rendering. and i have no idea what to do xD

You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.

i see something in a different thread about it breaking in a similar manner if it already has some data for the server world, should i clear my server data when updating from the alpha to beta? that solved it, ill mark the thread as solved
