how to make a quick local host server for datapack purposes

like I just wanna edit server properties for my datapack bruh, and I have to create a whole ass server for it? which needs to restart everytime I want to reload my datapack? like THERE HAS TO BE AN EASIER WAY FOR GODS SAKE

Use /Minecraft:reload it allows reloading the datapack without restarting

As for server properties you have to restart the server if you edit that unfortunately. You can run a server by downloading the server jar directly and running it or a server manager of some kind like pterodactyl or mcss(windows only) Also what server properties are you needing to change?

the function permission level to 3 or 4 to use /tick in my datapack that is soooo useful still kindof confused on setting up the server part
