1.21 Support
Specificially 1.21, not 1.21.X
For the latest 2.3 beta release, the modrinth page that labels versions as supporting 1.21 does not actually support 1.21
Additionally, when I run 2.2 on 1.21, it prompts me to update DH to 2.3, and installs 2.3 to my computer, but when I delete 2.2 keeping only 2.3, the jar it installs for me is also incompatible

the version you are using requires minecraft 1.20.2
and iris is on 1.21.1
instead of 1.21
same error here, also using modrinth launcher

I'm using this same combination and the iris download just says 1.21.1 its the one thats for 1.21
I found a solution friend. Delete DH from you mod folder and update Iris and sodium to their latest 1.21 supports. Should be Iris 1.8.8 and Sodium 0.6.9 and run the game. Be sure to run it with NO VERSION of DH installed. Then download the specific alpha version of DH shown in my image. Run game again and when prompted to update select "Dont show again" and game should run exactly like before

1.21 version is mislabeled? I'll confirm it when I'm home in about an hour and a half.
1.21.0 is not to be used under really any circumstance and support has long be cancelled at least on NeoForge's side, uncertain about Fabric but wouldn't be surprised if they did as well
the .1 update is a mere hotfix for servers
It would as such be arguably better for mod devs to truly abandon that version, period
All this asks for is trouble on the end user as in the recent couple months plenty of people would attempt running 1.21.0 in spite of not receiving support due to the existence of the 1.21.1 hotfix
also on a semi-related note: I somehow cannot get fabric installed at this very moment in order to ensure the fabric build works for 1.21.1
Good. It works with Fabric 0.16.10 on version 1.21.1 so please do everyone, including users, a favor by using that version instead of 1.21.0
I had no idea of this. i made an entire modpack for my bf and i. would i be able to turn my world into 1.21.1 along with my mods? we've already gotten so far
at least NeoForge I was easily able to run 1.21.0 mods in a 1.21.1 instance, can't speak for Fabric
take backups first then test and see
i am a nugget. what are backups?
just copy the world save to a different location
depending on how you go about hosting this is done with relative ease
i host on LAN
then simply head into
\.minecraft\saves
of that instance which contains the world you play on and copy it to some location on your system, maybe desktop or something
this way if things go wrong you can always revert back to the backupThank you :]
