you meant to say sphere* rather than round in your question, flat and round isn't mutually exclusive.
The sphere with a 3959 mile radius we've been made to believe in is in no way directly measured by anyone. No one has ever measured drop over distance that comports with the radius claim, let alone have measured rate of change of slope of the horizon at any achievable altitude.
The only places curvature exists is in what curriculum the government shovels into the class room or what unverifiable propaganda space agencies show people on their TV's, tablets and phones.
