Recent WAYWT Feedback

I’m still experimenting with ways I can style this shirt and these pants, so I’d appreciate some suggestions for that as well as feedback on the fit as a whole. Thanks!

I feel like I'm not a huge fan of those pants cuffs, maybe smaller ones would look better? I feel like if you're gonna cuff them you could make them pop a little bit more Also like a colorful accessory would look good added to this since the bag is fun

yeah im not sure the cuffs and half-tuck are working. i think a more deliberate roll on the cuffs and maybe either a full (but looser) tuck or no tuck could fix that for me. the halftuck kind of looks like you're really trying to show the belt matches the boots

This fit sort of screams inoffensive. All the pieces are fine. The tuck is fine. The boots are fine. The belt is fine. But you aren’t taking any risks. I wish you had a piece that was a little more bold or something that showed a bit of yourself I love recommending bishopcorrigan because he is so good at injecting himself into his outfits from:bishopcorrigan in:waywt has:file

I agree with other folks. The choices here feel unintentional for various reasons. The tuck and cuffs mainly feeling half-hearted to me. I’m also not a huge fan of those shoes but maybe that will vanish with other adjustments

i think the only thing that isn’t working for me is the cleanness(?) of the pants, belt, and shoes, and how is clashing with the rest of the casualness of the vibe. i’m also in general not a fan of the color of the belt

This cuts deep. Inoffensive is a great way to describe my wardrobe, and it’s something I’d like to change Truth be told, I don’t really take a lot of risks period, and this is kind of reflective of that

the part of the outfit i really like is the layered shirt with the tote and the hat

Definitely gotta bring more color into my wardrobe. Accessories sound like a good place to start

Or some Anglan canvas pants like this They have the same workwear aesthetic but with a cool different cut Given your last thread https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1345838605473681418/1345947158674669589 😉

to jump in on this - shrimp is right, as are most of the other comments. i think instead of framing things as "oh i need to take risks" it might be worth thinking "how can i take this further?" accessories are usually the easiest thing (gas station/bodega bandana would be an easy pickup), but even stuff like rolling up a sleeve or raw hemming the pants would be ways to add more intentional detail to the fit

I had a feeling it would come back to that That’s a good way to put it I’m gonna be asking myself that more often. Even if I can’t actually take it further (like if I don’t have a bandana, for example) it’ll be a great exercise to figure out my next steps

I think the easiest thing to do would be to swap in a white undershirt, do a full tuck, and unbutton like one more button on the overshirt The boots aren’t really working for me, they’re reading too dressy compared to the rest of the outfit. A more workwear/hiking oriented boot would help, otherwise I’d try like a canvas sneaker

Good point. Actually did something similar a couple months ago https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1330279432425836605 Yeah, I see what you mean Been considering a pair of blundstones or something similar lately because I like the vibe of these boots less than I used to
