Hi. I'm trying out the new advanced water and I can't access the settings.

Nah no point, seems somehow the water was broken
even though I tried it in internal build before this morning😬
also, when you installed 1.9, did you get cmd window (that ran for a little while) appear as a final step of the installation?

Did you try to restart UE for this water problem?
I just got the same version as you have, and for me the water worked, I tried to replicate Sitta's scene 🤔
also what ue version are you both on?

close UE, then open the project folder find the asset folder inside Polygonflow and delete that?
then it will re-import the water into your project when you try to use it

Works for me as well. Sadly not what i'm looking for though 😅 Not really meant for being used with the path tracer i assume?

I think @Roger_ will have to answer that in the morning when he is awake. Are you having reflection issues? I know Roger said hardware raytracing can make those better
If other issues, describe them here and Roger can check tomorrow! It is our first iteration so it defintely have some limitations yee
Yea it's too reflective in the path tracer. The depth slider has no effect.

i guess this is because it's not built using the single layer water shading model?
Yes not build with the single layer water shader. That will be depricated after 5.5

The new water system. They showed in 5.5 they want people to use it more.
