Tagging problem/question
so demo is 500 assets. i selected my master enviroment containing 243. clicked compute. and it says "starting" assets will appear hear as they are done... etc.. but then it just stops and does nothing goes back to 0 of 500.
something wrong. im using SM5 vulkan. (no nanite, no lumen)

Hmm, can you record a video when you try? And have the UE output log open in the video so I can see if there is any useful info there
Also, good to try on another folder/subfolder if you have any
And regarding your questions, you can tag 4000 new assets per month. No limit on how much it can handle or so 🙂
every mesh and material is returning "M_UE4Man_ChestLogo.M_UE4Man_ChestLogo does not exist on disk"

hmm, but you can find said asset in the UE content browser and drag it onto the level just fine`?

got whole levels etc made with them.
were you able to try compute some other asset, from another pack maybe?
tried two other folders. . the errors are showing on files/folders from addAssetToData on folders i havent selected . but nothing happens. never adds any.
Possible to send over one or two of the assets that ain't working?
And btw, are they normal static meshes or what are they exactly?


they are all setup to work with my landscape layer, foliage tool. grass layer, pcg graph, pcg foliage vol etc.
trying to recreate my levels (like this) but faster in dash. i have lots to make.

If you can't send over an mesh for me to try I understand. Could you maybe try to compute some other assets in another project?
quixel content shows.

ive removed all the lods from teh meshes and done a project folder resize on all textures to 1080. other than that. they are just static mesh, material,textures. (no nanite / lumen) its disabled in project and ini.
actuall just showing quixel fav list.
Yee the Quixel tab and the Current Project tab are different things
Quixel tab reads direectly from where you download your quixel assets to, from Bridge Plugin
The current project tab is a tab where you can compute your project assets to have them easily useable.
Just to double check, was it not possible to get a screen recording of when you try to compute some assets in the Current Project tab?
the megascans folder inside (fab) isnt showing either.
yep i did get a recording hold up.
Ye that's intentional. You can see your FAB assets in the FAB tab so we hide them from the project tab

if you click anywhere inside DASH UI that message goes away. and u can jsut leave it there for ages. i left for almost hour
after those log messages finish, a while the auto update (enters the log)

I have an idea
ill try on a new project in the mean time and import something from fab. see if it works. my project is very "customized" may not like it. i didnt "import materials" not sure if that means anything.
