SMM Error when Enabling/Disabling/Installing Mods

failed to resolve lockfile: failed to write lockfile: failed creating lockfile directory: failed to make directory: 550 Mods: Permission denied Already tried running as administrator. Tried rebooting my PC. Re-installed SMM already.

Solution:

Didn't think to restart the server that was hosting the game. seems the FTP service was in a broken state. Thanks for the help, though!...

Basically your current user doesn't have write access. Check if any security app is blocking SMM
