System freezing with kernel 6.13.4/5

Since kernel 6.13 released I have noticed my system will completely lock up occasionally when using flatpak apps, including with the latest kernel 6.13.5 on the latest bazzite image. I have to press the reboot button on my pc when this happens. It happens significantly less frequently than on 6.13.4, but is still present. Just thought I should report. please actually verify that you are on kernel 6.13.5-102 as this issue has been fixed there and youre the first person that is reporting this issue since we fixed it.

I never had this issue on 6.12

We know because it's a regression in 6.13 And you can confirm this is still happening now? Because you have given 0 ways to reproduce as I have 0 issues with flatpaks

It is still happening now. I'm not sure of exact conditions to reproduce. If it happens again, are there any particular logs it would be worth sending? Equally, if you'd rather I report elsewhere I understand.

would just need what flatpak app youre using and what exactly you did to trigger it like before anything that tried to read files and interact with them through flatpaks would freeze the system like uploading a file to a website

A couple of the times it's happened after I opened a pdf with the Okular flatpak, but in others it was just out of nowhere. Before, on 6.13.4, I also had the issue with uploading a file. I haven't had that since .5

Weirdly, sometimes it's fine for me as well. For instance after it happens I'll reboot and open the same pdf and it'll be ok. Anyway, sorry I'm not giving you much to go on. I can just keep an eye on it for the time being.

hmm @antheas maybe the flatpak fix isnt 100% perfect, however only report so far about this so it is a bit odd

same issue on bazzite-deck-gnome:stable, at least when I'm using the desktop. it just randomly hangs for a bit or will just go kaput. nothing I do specifically causes it, once it happened when I clicked on the settings icon in floorp, the other time it randomly just restarted my system when I was screensharing a game on vesktop after everything froze for 5-10 seconds

I swapped from an Nvidia GPU to AMD (and bazzite-deck-gnome testing now) and this is also occurring to me on both testing and stable. I also run two monitors with different refresh rates with AMD CPU & GPU. bazzite-gnome:testing Bazzite 41 Linux 6.13.6-101.bazzite.fc41.x864 AMD Ryzen 9 9900X (24) @ 5.66 GHz AMD RX 9070 XT
