Maxing Out Memory (Wynncraft)

This is probably more of a niche problem but I thought I might see if anyone knows how to resolve this. I have DH loaded while playing Wynncraft and downloaded WynnLODGrabber https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/wynnlodgrabber. This is all working fine however when typing /hub and connecting to a different server I notice that my memory usage increases each time. And after like 8-9 server swaps in about a minute (for testing purposes) I max out the 8 GB of memory assigned and I get the error in the screenshot (sorry for bad quality, MC stopped responding and the screen turned that opaque white). I'm assuming this is due to the LOD loading each time I swap servers without clearing the previous one. Is there a method for me to clear or refresh the LOD from memory since currently the only method I have found is just closing out of Minecraft completely and playing again. Multiplayer: us.wynncraft.com Version: 1.21.4 DH Version: Nightly Build 1.21.4 (not sure what version exactly it is anymore because of autoupdates but this is what I downloaded originally NightlyBuild_1.21.4-4a3effa2-2025-02-22T20_55_18+05_00)

Can you try allocating 12 gigs?

I can try, but I think all thats going to do is make it so that it takes longer for the memory to max out when swapping servers, since at 8 gigs it was increasing my memory by about 10% each time

Yeah just tried, the problem still occurred. Just incase you aren't fully understanding what I mean by swapping servers heres a screenshot.

and this is what I'm looking at for my memory, each time I swap to a different world server it increases the memory until at a certain point it reaches around 98% and the game starts freezing up

if I stay on the current world server that I started on, my memory will stay at around 2000-3000 MB used but each time I swap it increases by around 700-1000 MB

I didn't have this issue before I downloaded the LODGrabber so I assumed it was because it kept reapplying the LOD over and over each time I swapped to a different server, thats why I was wondering if there was a method in game or in settings to clear the LOD or refresh it

No unused memory should be automatically be released by the garbage collector But it's an interesting point that you make, that it could be the lodgrabber Can you confirm it only happens with that mod installed?

Okay I tried it and removed the lodgrabber and the problem is still happening I also did confirm that this is happening with the nightlybuild installed since the problem did not occur when I took it out

Okay I just tried it, using fabric, only mods installed and the issue still occured and it seemed to happen a lot faster which I assume is because I don't have optimization mods installed

Does your game crash? Or does the memory just get very high? You said it reaches 98% but will the game actually crash if you let it go? Try turning down your graphics quality and CPU preset in DH and see if that reduces the memory.

I generally close my minecraft by then since the fps starts to tank, but yes the game will crash due to "Minecraft not responding" and then the screen will turn white and a window will pop up if I want to wait for it to respond. the CPU setting along with the quality and render distance does change the amount of memory used. Overall this isn't a very big problem for me since it seems to only be happening due to changing servers on Wynncraft (I assume this would also happen on servers such as Hypixel). I don't switch servers on Wynncraft very often so for general purposes this issue doesn't affect me too much, and if it were to max out on my memory due to me switching servers, then I can just restart Minecraft as that resets the memory usage and it doesn't take long to restart.
