Orbiter 2 smart sensor fialment does not unload
Since i installed my orbiter 2 smart sensor on my v core 4 I have problems unloading filament, it seems there is a small blob in the end of the filament getting stuck in the entrance (from inside) to the sensor, and this happens every time. I Have searched the forums but can't find anyone else describing the same problem. Do I need to change the unload macro or is there something wrong with my sensor?

I had the same problem. I think a combination of loosening the screw on the side of the orbiter, and testing a few different retraction speeds fixed it.
I think the screw is supposed to be quite loose. I remember reading something like 2 full rotations from the moment it engages with the threads
@tillibilli5671 thanks a lot, loosening the screw made some good improvements but there are still some resistance. do you have any idea of what retraction speed you use and how to adjust it?
I‘m away from my printer at the moment and dont have any copy of my config with me unfortunately. But i think its the variable in the screenshot below, for normal filament unloads via mainsail.
For filamentunloads via the button on the sensor:
In your printer.cfg, there‘s a section dedicated to the smart sensor. There should be a variable that can be changed.

I have the same blob issue. Which screw is it? Is it the on the filament path?
The thumbscrew that presses the filament gears together
