The bed being out of "level" doesn't matter

Turn the z screws by hand to get it fairly flat, z-tilt will figure out the rest

should i be worried about the shaft being bent?

I didn't notice it bent, see what happens is my feeling. The screw just moves the bed up and down, it is the z-rails that keep it on track It might be bent more than the coupling can handle, I'd print without the top bearing thing and see how bad the top wobbles If it's only a mm or two, then put the bearing thing back on and see if it prints. Only then if it starts to bind would I get a replacement
