What color socks to wear with a chunky black derby?
Just got a pair of black grained Tricker's derbies and wondering what color socks to pair them with. Are white socks too try-hard, or would light or heather gray be a better choice? I'll mostly be wearing them with blue jeans, khakis, and olive fatigues.

Purple can be really fun between black shoes and blue jeans
but for lighter colored pants, def give some lighter ecru or white socks a try, it's a very classic look
