Scratches on suede
Considering some secondhand suede blundstones. Never owned any suede before, but can a scratch like this be brushed out or somewhat minimized?

Looks to me like a waxed suede
You could probably brush it out, or put a hairdryer on it and brush to make it uniform
But honestly I’d just leave it
That’s just what happens to waxed suede

It’ll eventually wear into something more like this
Not the same leather but similar type
However, if you buy some wax you can always rewax it yourself to get it back to uniform, though it will result in some darkening ysually
Yeah just put some Venetian shoe cream on it and it’ll vanish
Thanks everyone!
Blundstones are supposed to get beaten to shit
Yup but they aren’t particularly cheap for a used pair so for the price I wanna be the one to beat them to shit
Sure but I’m just saying I’d leave these tiny scratches since you’re gonna accrue more quickly anyways
To each their own
