bt-sensors-plugin-sk Not seeing Orion charger

I had a few Victron items that were connected to SignalK using the Victron Instant Data over BLE. I installed the bt-sensors-plugin to add other, non-Victron bluetooth devices. Now I cannot get one of the victron devices to connect using bluetooth. I have two Orion DC-DC units. The bt-sensors-plugin sees only one of them. They are located about the same distance from my RPi running SK. Any ideas on how to get the other Orion connected (it does connect to the Victron app on my phone)? It appears both blue tooth plugins cannot be used at the same time.

Hi, can you turn debug on and DM the log output to me? There's no reason you can't monitor two Orions with the bt-sensors-plugin-sk (I'm the developer). So I'd like to see what's gone wrong here. IIRC there are other working installations out there with multiple Orions working at the same time.

It is working now. Seems to be an issue with teh bluetooth range of the Orion. I am going to install an external bluetooth antenna on the RPi running SK.

Interesting, I have all Victron on my boat, and the Orion is consistently is the hardest to connect to via the Victron Connect app and my RPi. It's within arms reach of 2 MPPTs, Multiplus, BMV, and a battery sensor, and I often lose connection to it. I wonder if it's a know issue?

@Brandon Keepers FWIW If you're using the plugin, you can set up a path for your Orion's signal strength (RSSI) and use grafana to get a history of the Orion's signal strength over time.

@naugehyde Good call. I'm currently using signalk-victron-ble, but will check out bt-sensors-plugin-sk sometime.
